Artist bio
Self taught artist based in Vancouver, sachi finds most of their art inspiration from nature, architecture, and mythical creatures, as living in Japan and Canada has exposed them to various types of arts and culture. 
 
Sachi’s art style resembles most to a traditional Japanese art style called Ukiyo-e, (an art movement that was most prominent during the Edo period) with a modern twist. 
 
The design they illustrated for Yugen shows their influence from Ukiyo-e with the fox materializing out of the smoke from the steam clock in Gastown, while incorporating the modern city.
